2023 Merida Silex 600 - Large
 
This bike presents in a fair condition and will be well suited to someone looking for their first gravel bike with its alloy frame, disc brakes and drop handlebars.
 
This bike will be best suited to someone between 170cm – 185cm.
 
The 11 speed Shimano GRX groupset consists of a 11-42t cassette paired with 40t chainring on a 175mm crankset. Chain was replaced before taking photos and is brand new.
 
The original alloy Merida Expert wheels are wrapped in some worn out tyres, which will be replaced with BRAND NEW ONES before you take it home (we have them on order, but they didn’t arrive in time for the photos). Set up tubeless. Bearings all feel smooth and the rims run true. 160mm rotors front and rear. T
 
he original alloy cockpit consists of the 85mm stem paired with flared 42cm handlebars wrapped brand new handlebar tape. The hydraulic disc brakes appear to have about 70% left of usable life on the brake pads. There are 25mm of spacers below.
 
Seat height in these photos is 770mm from the bottom bracket to the top of the original saddle. (If you’re measuring your inseam, add the length of the crankset to your measurement).
 
Notable damage: Scuffs across the frame.
 
This bike has gone through our thorough 60 point roadworthy inspection report at the expense of the seller which will be shown in store and included with the sale.
