Adelaide’s Only Dedicated Second-Hand Bike Shop
Our mission is to create a tailor made and stress free bicycle resale environment for both buyers and sellers by going far beyond the initial sales routine
ReCycle Bicycle Sales exists to make buying and selling bikes easy, affordable, and stress-free. We know that new bike prices are out of control, and we’re here to change that. Whether you're looking for your first ride, upgrading to something faster, or just need to clear out the shed, we've got you covered.
And yes, we also make great coffee. Whether you're here for a bike or just dropping by for a chat, our in-store café is the perfect place to fuel up and connect with fellow riders.

How We Achieve Our Vision
The continuous rise in bicycle prices always amazes us.
If you're starting a new sport, they say you need at least $3,000 for a bike, $350 for a helmet, and $1,000 for accessories! We strongly disagree — which is why we only stock well-priced products. You could have everything you need to get started in cycling for less than the cost of a new bike alone.
As reflected in our 170+ five-star Google reviews, we’re trustworthy, passionate cyclists. You're not buying from a salesperson; you're buying from another cyclist — just like you!
We focus on building and strengthening relationships through our follow-up processes for both buyers and sellers. We don't say goodbye — we say, "See you next time!"
Meet the Team
We’re a small but passionate team of cyclists who love what we do.

Founder/Owner
Lewis Denver
The driving force behind ReCycle, Lewis is a long-time cyclist with a knack for pairing people with the perfect bike. He treats every customer like a friend and is always up for a chat—especially about bikes, tattoos, or good coffee.

Workshop Manager
Peter Burgess
This man is a proper 'bike nerd'. The exact person you want working on your bike. Peter has tried his hand in all aspects of the bike world, but truly excels in the workshop. You've probably seen him racing in his Mood.Cycling outfit at all the local races.

Shop Environment Manager
Colleen Lewis
Colleen makes sure the shop feels like home. Whether she’s chatting with customers, helping with admin, or keeping the café space welcoming, she brings warmth and community spirit to everything she does.

Social Media/YouTube Manager
Jude Hall
Jude is career driven and knows where he wants to go. He's a huge fan of sports cars and race cars - Especially the McLaren F1 team. If he's not filming at the shop, he's probably booked out for a wedding shoot.

Cafe manager
Charli Denver
Charli loves her Rottweiler dog (Ruby), her family and her time at the gym. Charli sets big goals for herself and makes it happen. When not in the cafe, she's busy managing the music department at a large school.

Listings Manager
Sophia Bakker
When she's not typing away on her laptop, she's strumming away on her guitar. Every bike that you see listed on our website was uploaded by Sophia. She's progressing her way through the track cycling league, but also loves to spend time on her Specialized Allez on the roads.

Community Manager
Tim Dougherty
Tim, or "Moth" as he's more commonly known was the king of Adelaide's cycling communities before he even joined ReCycle. Tim has extensive experience with conducting safe and inclusive group rides. He's friends with everyone and loves to show the mental health benefits that come from riding a bike.

What Makes ReCycle
Bicycles Different?
After more than 10 years in the retail bicycle industry here in Australia, our founder Lewis Denver has seen the price of bikes skyrocket. A $3,000 road bike is now considered ‘entry level,’ and cycling is quickly becoming a sport for the wealthy. That's why we’re here — to save the industry! We sell that same $3,000 bike for only $1,500, but it's been through a set of brake pads.
All staff at ReCycle are passionate cyclists who genuinely love helping people. We're locals who can show you great places to learn to ride or test your skills. We even know the best local coffee spots with bike parking!

What Our Customers Have To Say
Over 170 five star reviews!
Nat Ruby
Lewis is extremely knowledgeable about anything to do with bikes and has been very helpful as a beginner rider. He’s friendly and approachable as soon as you walk through the door. He sold me a great bike at a very good price and I’ve been in love with it ever since. Go ReCycle Bike
Apostle Broikos
The best in the business. Always helpful, always very knowledgeable and an amazing team. Lewis was fantastic and his sister even made me a coffee while I was waiting. Very fair pricing - highly recommend this small business.
Steve
Lewis recently sold my Dolmane on consignment. Am very grateful for his expertise in pricing the bike correctly and finding the right buyer. The whole process from start to finish to finish was just too easy! I have no hesitation in recommending ReCycle Cycles for buying or selling quality bikes.
Jay Naglis
Absolutely amazing bike shop. Lewis is an amazing guy and mechanic. A great range of bikes and sick merch. Highly recommend if you're looking for a second hand bike that looks and feels like new. Or for any servicing and maintenance. Definitely the best bike shop in Adelaide and the best I've ever been to.

Come Down For A Coffee!
At ReCycle, we know the best rides are followed by a great cup of coffee. That’s why we’ve created our very own café right here at the shop. Whether you're after a quick espresso before your ride or want to unwind with a cappuccino afterward, Maya has you covered.
Stop by, meet fellow cyclists, swap stories, or simply enjoy a drink while you take in the bike shop atmosphere. Plus, we’ve got bike parking right out front, so you can conveniently park and sip while you chat!
Friday, Saturday and Sunday ONLY.
