2017 Trek Emonda SL5 – 52cm
 
This bike presents in good condition and will be well suited to someone looking for their first road bike with its carbon frame, 11speed Shimano gears and rim brakes.
 
This bike will be best suited to someone between 160cm – 170cm The 11 speed Shimano 105 groupset (R7000 series) consists of a 11-28t cassette paired with 50/34t chainrings on a 170mm crankset. Chain was replaced before taking photos.
 
The alloy wheels are wrapped in brand new 25mm Continental Ultra Sport which are currently set up with tubes. Bearings all feel smooth and the wheels run true.
 
The alloy cockpit consists of the 110mm stem paired with 42cm handlebars. The rim brakes appear to have about 30% left of usable life on the front brake pads, but the rears are brand new. There are no spacers above or below the stem. Brakes are currently set up right-hand-rear.
 
Seat height in these photos is 710mm from the bottom bracket to the top of the Bontrager Montrose saddle. (If you’re measuring your inseam, add the length of the crankset to your measurement).
 
Notable damage: Paint scratches on spokes. Headset bearings feel dry.
 
This bike has gone through our thorough 60 point roadworthy inspection report at the expense of the seller which will be shown in store and included with the sale.
