This bike presents in fair condition and will be well suited to someone looking for a once pioneering mountain bike with its unique heritage, 29” wheels and Shimano XTR paddle shift levers.
 
This bike will be best suited to someone between 170cm – 185cm. Shimano XTR M975 3x9 groupset consisting of an 11-34t cassette paired with 44/32/22t chainrings on a 180mm XTR crankset. Chain measures as 30% worn.
 
The alloy American Classic 29” wheels are wrapped in 2.20” Maxxis Ikon tyres (the rear is tubeless, but the front has a tube). Bearings all feel fairly smooth and rims run true. 160mm front rotor and 140mm rear.
 
The cockpit consists of a 95mm stem paired with 635mm carbon handlebars with 25mm worth of spacer below the stem.
 
90mm suspension fork on the front paired with a Fox Float RP23 rear shock. Both are airsprung.
 
Seat height in these photos is 745mm from the bottom bracket to the top of the Ritchey saddle. (If you’re measuring your inseam, add the length of the crankset to your measurement).
 
Notable damage: cable rub, rear shock (rebound/lockout ineffective)
