2009 Colnago CLX carbon – 53cm

This bike presents in fair condition and will be well suited to someone looking for their first road bike with its carbon frame, Dura Ace gears and alloy wheels.

This bike will be best suited to someone between 165cm – 175cm.

The 10 speed Shimano Dura ace groupset (7800 series) consists of an 11-28t cassette paired with 53/39t chainrings on a 170mm crankset. Chain was replaced before taking photos.

The Shimano Dura Ace alloy wheels are wrapped in 23mm Continental GP4000 tyres which are currently set up with tubes. Bearings all feel smooth and the wheels run ture.

The cockpit consists of the 110mm alloy FSA stem paired with 38cm carbon handlebars wrapped. The rim brakes appear to have about 70% left of usable life on the brake pads. There are 25mm of spacers below the stem.

Seat height in these photos is 680mm from the bottom bracket to the top of the Fizik Arione saddle. (If you’re measuring your inseam, add the length of the crankset to your measurement).

Notable damage: Paint chips around BB area and the big chainring is starting to show some wear and the BB feels a bit worn.

This bike has gone through our thorough 60 point roadworthy inspection report at the expense of the seller which will be shown in store and included with the sale.
